Target groups

The Hague residents
Besides tourists and expats, people living in The Hague form the largest and most important target group for the Haags Uitburo. With a range of products, such as the UITpas discount card and UITmagazine, the Haags Uitburo tries to entice the city’s residents to participate in more cultural events and activities.

 

OAP project
With special offers for old-age pensioners, the Haags Uitburo reaches approximately 1,200 senior citizens who live in The Hague, but who are unable – for whatever reason – to go to the theatre on their own. Four times a year a number of events, shows and performances catering for the target group are presented, with the possibility for senior citizens to order tickets. Dozens of volunteers (often offering their services spontaneously for the occasion) pick up the participants with a van, help them to their seats and drive them home again afterwards. In the interval, a separate foyer or room in the theatre is reserved for the senior citizens where coffee and tea are served.

 

Expats
In particular, the Haags Uitburo targets the expat community in The Hague and the area around The Hague. In addition to manning a stand at the annual Expat Fair, the Haags Uitburo publishes the Theatre Guide every yea, presenting a special selection of cultural activities and events for expats.
