Distribution

Distribution ensures that (potential) visitors get to see all the information on the tourist attractions that our beautiful city has to offer. Much of this information is provided by The Hague’s Tourist Information Office on the ground floor of the Central Library, Spui 68. A network of decentralized Tourist Information Points has been developed across the city, such as VVV Pier, VVV Boekhandel Scheveningen in the Keizerstraat and the VVV in the Museum Shop, Lange Voorhout 58b.

Tourist Information staff also man stands at various trade fairs and conferences in The Hague and elsewhere, such as business conferences in the WFCC (World Forum Convention Center), the Expat Fair and the 50 Plus fair.

Distribution also supplies the tourist information guide Welcome to The Hague, both around the city and outside it. Finally, Distribution carries out a number of sales tasks, for example, the sale of gift vouchers to the business and consumer market, the sale of excursions and the sale of advertising space.

VVV The Pier
For tourist information in Scheveningen, you can go to the information point at the beginning of the pier.

Opening times:
From April, the information point is open from 11.00 am to 5.00 pm on Saturdays and Sundays. It is also open on national holidays and every day during the summer holidays (July and August) from 11.00 am to 5.00 pm.

Tourist agent: Boekhandel Scheveningen
In the heart of Scheveningen village is a tourist agent: VVV Boekhandel Scheveningen. In addition to books, newspapers and magazines, there is also a limited tourist range of tourist items such as VVV gift vouchers and cycling & hiking maps.
